Would You Wait Over an Hour for These 16 Rides in Disney World ?!

It’s MARCH in Disney World – Spring is around the corner, we’re starting to see consistently warm weather, and it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day!

Buuuut with the warm weather and springtime come even more crowds. We’ve already seen the parks be very busy during January and February, so we are just a bit nervous about how big the Spring Break crowds are going to be. Since the month has kicked off and some schools may already be out on break, let’s take a look at the wait times from around Disney World this week!

Magic Kingdom

Let’s head to Magic Kingdom – this week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 93 minutes!

After that, we had Jungle Cruise Fr. 73 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight Fr. 71 minutes, Splash Mountain Fr. 63 minutes, Space Mountain Fr. 53 minutes, Haunted Mansion Fr. 49 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Fr. 47 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean Fr. 44 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Fr. 40 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Fr. 38 minutes, Astro Orbiter Fr. 37 minutes, and “It’s a small world” at 32 minutes.

Next, we had Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid Fr. 28 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini Fr. 27 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant Fr. 27 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin Fr. 26 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 22 minutes, and Tomorrowland Speedway Fr. 22 minutes.

Then, we saw Mickey’s PhilharMagic Fr. 18 minutes, Mad Tea Party Fr. 18 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel Fr. 16 minutes.

And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Carousel of Progress Fr. 4 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island Fr. 2 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree Fr. 2 minutes, and Liberty Square Riverboat Fr. 1 minute. Rides with no waits were Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

EPCOT

Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was actually a tie this week! Both Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After were at 84 minutes.

Then, we had Test Track Fr. 60 minutes, Soarin ‘ Fr. 41 minutes, Mission: SPACE Fr. 23 minutes, Spaceship Earth Fr. 19 minutes, Living with the Land Fr. 17 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends Fr. 16 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour Fr. 12 minutes, Journey into Imagination Fr. 11 minutes, and Turtle Talk with Crush Fr. 11 minutes.

The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!

Hollywood Studios

Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 137 minutes.

After that, we had Tower of Terror Fr. 116 minutes, Slinky Dog Dash Fr. 106 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Fr. 77 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith Fr. 72 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Fr. 67 minutes, and Toy Story Mania Fr. 66 minutes.

And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers Fr. 40 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue Fr. 26 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy Fr. 16 minutes, Walt Disney Presents Fr. 12 minutes, and Muppet * Vision 3D Fr. 10 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

Hopping over to Animal Kingdomthe ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage Fr. 99 minutes.

Then, we had Na’vi River Journey Fr. 69 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris Fr. 54 minutes, Kali River Rapids Fr. 30 minutes, and DINOSAUR Fr. 30 minutes.

Following behind was Triceratop Spin Fr. 15 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug Fr. 12 minutes, The Boneyard Fr. 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail Fr. 0 minutes.
